Challenge: The initial review of the requirements and design documents of the Landing Minimums project identified functionality gaps as defined in the vision documents. After subsequent discussions, the Software Development Life Cycle of the project was reset.

Resolution: A full analysis of the requirements with the Stakeholders and Subject Matter Expert clearly defined the purpose and direction of the project. Once the requirements and designs were approved, the remaining steps of development, testing and deployment were quickly delivered. Ultimately, a project with numerous challenges for the past decade was successfully delivered within six months.

Healthcare Solutions

Challenge: The manual process of receiving various types of medical equipment orders by phone, fax, and e-mail was proven to be inefficient.

Resolution: The client wanted an online equipment catalog and ordering system to improve order accuracy and track order status for critical medical equipment for United States Veterans across the United States. The completed online system reduced order processing time from hours to minutes. Order accuracy and tracking improved by an order of magnitude.

Federal Solutions

Challenge: The process for onboarding new developers to build their personal development environment with Docker containers was not clearly documented. The initial manual configuration for the containers and networking between the containers typically consumed two days of effort for both the mentor and the new team member. Unfortunately, the manual process would not consistently configure the containers successfully.

Resolution: The recommendation was implementing Docker Compose across multiple projects to replace the manual configuration process with a consistent automated process.
